Traffic and urban planning design for the old part of Vrhnika

In cooperation with the Municipality of Vrhnika and its residents, we have prepared a traffic and urban planning concept for the old part of Vrhnika in collaboration with the Institute for Spatial Policies. The objectives of the new plan are to divert transit and freight traffic from the old town center, establish safe school routes, create new areas for pedestrians and cyclists, and provide new parking spaces for residents.

The solutions take into account contemporary trends in sustainable development with the aim of improving the quality of life in the city and encouraging walking, cycling, and the use of public transport.
