Road safety assessment in the settlement of Zaklanec

In the early stages of planning the reconstruction of municipal roads in Zaklanec, the opinion of the road safety assessor was not included. After the work was completed, traffic conditions changed due to the renovated road infrastructure and the associated higher speeds. The municipality proposed to check whether the current road arrangements are also appropriate from the point of view of the safety of road users and, if not, what should be done to ensure that the residents of Zaklanec and travelers passing through the village have roads that are safe for traffic.

For the client, the Municipality of Horjul, we conducted a traffic safety analysis of the newly built road in the village of Zaklanec. Measures to improve traffic safety were also proposed.
