Reconstruction of the Čepovan - Most na Soči state road
Our team is participating in the preparation of project documentation (DPP) for the extensive reconstruction of the R3-609/1066 Čepovan – Most na Soči state road. The project covers a section approximately 1.5 kilometers long (from km 11.995 to km 13.100) and represents a key upgrade of the transport infrastructure in the village of Postaja (Municipality of Tolmin).
Why is the renovation necessary?
The current condition of the road section no longer meets modern traffic standards. Significant damage to the road structure is visible along the entire route, mainly in the form of mesh cracks, which indicates the deterioration of the substructure. Comprehensive renovation will ensure:
Greater traffic safety for all road users.
The arrangement of numerous individual junctions connecting to the main route.
Long-term stability of the road surface and improved drainage.
Key changes on the section
The following construction and traffic interventions will be carried out as part of the project:
New roundabout: Construction of a modern roundabout to calm traffic.
Bus stop: Creation of a safe point for public transport passengers.
Infrastructure: Comprehensive renovation of municipal equipment and civil engineering structures.
Parking facilities: A total of 48 public parking spaces will be provided on the section in question.
