Project for the reconstruction of the regional road, sidewalks, and bus stops in the settlement of Branik

In the settlement of Branik (Municipality of Nova Gorica), we prepared a project for the implementation (detailed design) of a comprehensive traffic arrangement on the regional road R1-204/1013. The project focuses on increasing traffic safety by introducing new pedestrian areas and upgrading bus stops.

The section under consideration (350 meters long) represents an important traffic connection between Dornberk and Štanjel. Our solution includes a road restructuring that, in addition to maintaining traffic flow, provides a safer environment for all users, especially pedestrians and public transport users.

• The project includes:
  
  Construction of a pair of bus stops, allowing passengers to get on and off safely.
  
  Construction of sidewalks: On the right side of the roadway (between profiles A15 and A19), pedestrian areas with a width of 2.00 m are planned, which significantly improves connectivity within the settlement.
  
  Connection arrangements: Repair and adaptation of all existing shared and individual driveways.
  
  Ecological island: A newly arranged area for waste collection, which is safely accessible and aesthetically integrated into the surroundings.
  
  Infrastructure: Protection and relocation of utility lines where necessary.
