Active and passive noise protection at Ljubljana Zalog railway station and Ljubljana Polje railway stop

Noise reduction measures are planned in the area of the Ljubljana Zalog railway station and the Ljubljana Polje railway stop to reduce the environmental impact of noise from rail traffic. In 2016, the company A-Projekt d.o.o. prepared a "Feasibility study of remediation measures for excessive noise from rail traffic at the Ljubljana Polje and Ljubljana Zalog railway stations." One of the measures envisaged in the study is the installation of five noise barriers in the area around the settlements of Ljubljana Polje and Ljubljana Zalog.
